In 2014, I decided to change my life for the better. I weighed over 400 lbs and I realized that I had hit rock bottom. Just like many others, I tried to lose weight for years and nothing seemed to stick. I was a member at almost every gym in the city I lived in, but nothing kept me interested. I decided to stop listening to what everyone else was telling me to do and create my own healthy lifestyle. Through proper diet, strength training, and cardio I have lost over 120lbs and look forward to reaching my goal weight.
I found my passion for fitness and yoga in late 2014. Seeing my body be able to do the things it once could not do blew my mind. Not many people would believe that an almost 400 lb woman could fall into a split so gracefully, until they met me. Because of this, I believe that any and everybody can create their own fitness journey. An individuals capabilities are not measured by stereotypes or social "norms". I decided to devote my life to the health, wellness and fitness industry and have received multiple degrees in the field. I have a passion to help other people reach their goals.
